RustningShield LLC is a remote infrastructure and DevOps consultancy registered in New Mexico, USA. We work with engineering teams across the United States, providing senior-level expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and Unix/Linux systems administration. We operate as a small firm with a trusted network of specialists — giving clients the flexibility of a contractor with the reliability of a dedicated team.

What is our Vision?

We focus on one thing: keeping production systems running reliably. Our goal is to be the infrastructure partner that engineering teams call first — whether it's a 3am incident or a 3-month migration project. We're building a practice where deep technical expertise meets fast, async-first remote delivery for US companies.

Roger Jerdez - Founder & Principal Consultant

Infrastructure engineer with 20+ years of experience designing, managing, and migrating production systems across enterprise environments. Specialized in Unix and Linux administration — including RHEL, Solaris, and AIX — with deep hands-on experience in storage architecture, database operations, and infrastructure automation.
Over the last several years I've focused on cloud-native infrastructure: Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for platforms operating at scale. I founded RustningShield to bring that level of expertise to US engineering teams that need a senior infrastructure partner, not a generalist vendor.
